Crisis Chases Vietnam Workers from Bulgaria\'s Ruse
27 Vietnamese workers at the construction materials factory Orgahim of Bulgaria\'s Ruse are leaving chased away by the crisis.
Under their contracts, the Vietnamese are supposed to be getting BGN 450 per month at the Orgahim factory but they told the Bulgarian National Television they received only BGN 350 per month during the last three months.
The plant was going to lay off the workers from Vietnam anyway even if they had not left themselves.
\"We are leaving on April 14. But we first need to settle our matters somehow because the contract is for BGN 450, and we have been getting only BGN 350. I don\'t know but lying is no good\", the 49-year-old painter Nguyen Long is quoted as saying.

Turkish businessman donates 27 000 euro for a Bulgarian church
One of the oldest churches in Svilengrad will mark its temple’s celebration renewed.
The church will receive the laymen with a renewed roof construction, ceiling and floor, with painted walls, informed the municipal administration.
The money for the renovation were granted by the Turkish businessman Fuat Gyuven, informed Haskovo.info. He has donated 27 thousand euro.
The green areas and the alleys around the temple are also renovated and freshened with money from the administration.
Special guests for the celebration of the temple will be the Olympic champion Rumyana Neikova and the donor Fuat Gyuven.

Bulgaria\'s Pomorie to Hold Referendum on Oil Pipeline
The coastal town of Pomorie will hold on May 16 a referendum asking its residents to vote in favour or against plans for an oil pipeline passing through the municipality.
To be acknowledged as valid, at least 51% of eligible voters in the municipality have to take part in it, but it remains unclear how its outcome can influence the plans to build the pipeline.
Bulgaria, Greece and Russia agreed to build the pipeline between Burgas and Alexandroupolis, taking Caspian oil to the Mediterranean skirting the congested Bosphorus, in 2007 after more than a decade of intermittent talks.

Big investments in the electric energy network of Bulgaria are needed, believe experts from energy companies, which took part in the conference “On the route to liberalized electric energy market: successes and perspectives”.

EU Leaders Could Double Financial Crisis Support Funds
The EU has said it may double the amount of emergency funding to help member states that need urgent budget support.
European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso said he was confident the deal would be reached on the final day of a two-day summit in Brussels, the BBC reported Friday.
The Brussels summit, which opened on Thursday, takes place as the world\'s biggest economies prepare for next month\'s G20 summit in London. Mr Barroso said doubling the emergency funding ceiling to EUR 50 B would be \"a good signal that the EU is ready to show solidarity and support... to the countries that may need it\".

A French court has ordered eBay to pay a 40m euro fine (£36.1m; $63m) to luxury goods group LVMH for allowing fake copies of its goods to be auctioned on the site.
The case was brought against eBay by six brands belonging to LVMH - Lois Vuitton Malletier, Christian Dior Couture, Dior perfume, Guerlain perfume, Kenzo perfume and Givenchy perfume. The company alleged that even legitimate auctions of their products were illegal due to only specialist dealers being permitted to sell them.
